Working with Privilege for Inclusion

Brief

Challenge participants’ understanding of inclusion and provide tools to enable them to contribute towards inclusivity in the workplace.

Solution

We delivered sessions using an innovative, practical and evidence-based approach to inclusion that embraces the tension of difference and sameness.

Impact

Participants:

Gained an enhanced understanding of how privilege and disadvantage are intertwined – personally, in organisations and in society.
Acquired evidence-based tools and techniques for spotting privilege and developing authentic leadership.
Articulated key drivers for creating and sustaining inclusive cultures.
Practised strategies for driving organisational change as majority-status and minority-status group members.

Feedback

In recent workshops:

100% of participants rated the overall workshop at seven out of ten; over 85% of responses were eight or higher.
85% of participants described the workshop as ‘Excellent’ relevance to practice.
The average ‘Usefulness’ score was 4.45 out of five (93% of responses were four or five).
