The MHFA England training program provides evidence-based information about common mental health problems and teaches learners how to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental ill-health. Learners gain practical skills to provide support to someone experiencing a mental health crisis, including how to approach someone who is struggling, how to assess the risk of harm or suicide, and how to provide appropriate guidance and resources. The Adult MHFA course covers a wide range of mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, and psychosis.

This training programme is a critical component of diversity and inclusion in any organisation. By promoting mental health and creating a culture of support and acceptance, organisations can work to reduce stigma, meet the unique needs of diverse populations, and create a more inclusive and engaged workforce. As mental health continues to be a critical issue in the workplace, it’s essential for businesses to invest in MHFA training and awareness programs to create a supportive and safe working environment for all employees
