The challenge

Our client is an American provider of reinsurance, insurance and other related business services. With a focus on delivering reinsurance solutions that work for their clients across global platforms, they match well-structured risk with efficient capital and are committed to delivering value-added service in a rapidly evolving market.

The client wanted a partner to design and deliver a programme for leaders to help them demonstrate organisational values and culture in everyday behaviours, and to equip them to be better, more visible allies.

Excellent set of workshops. The worked examples really helped bring the issues to life. I hope to apply the learnings from the course in my day-to-day life inside and outside the office.

The solution

First, Delta conducted Insight Sessions to get a deeper understanding of the client’s culture to tailor the content of the workshops to meet their context and needs. We produced an actionable report which we presented to a selection of senior leaders.

We then adapted our Inclusive Leadership programme to help their leadership team understand what inclusive leadership and allyship behaviours look like on a practical level and equip them with the skills to make day-to-day behavioural changes to create inclusive working environments. Real-life, anonymous stories generated from the Insight Sessions were integrated into the workshops to make the topics we covered directly relevant to the leaders.

The Inclusive Leadership workshops for senior leaders were enhanced with Delta Circles.
