It was powerful and validating to see my words/experience in print. So often, racialised experiences are faced with gaslighting and people are left doubting themselves. The ‘Opportunity Cycle’ helped to legitimise the struggle as a Black woman
I would just like to thank you again for your input over the last 6 months. You went over and above to create a brave space and help us think about how to improve the working conditions of psychological therapists from minoritised ethnic backgrounds. I’m hopeful that the learning will be used to take us further in our goals of creating a more inclusive and diverse environment
