Following on from part one in our inclusive coaching series where Delta CEO and founder Dr. Doyin Atewologun spoke to Amanda Gethin of EY on what inclusive coaching means to her, Delta are pleased to announce part two of the series, which sees Delta consultants Banke Sotomi and Michael Puchalla and executive coach IK Iroche discuss inclusive coaching, the power of evidence-based executive coaching, and what these terms mean to them and their coaching practice.
The second instalment in our inclusive coaching series will cover both inclusive coaching in practice, as well as insights from research.
Who’s talking?
Banke Sotomi and Michael Puchalla of Delta, and executive coach IK Iroche discuss inclusive coaching and the power of evidence-based executive coaching.
Banke is a Senior Consultant and executive coach at Delta. She has significant experience in personal, professional and career development and is experienced in creating and facilitating practical workshops to empower leadership capacity. She is a member of the EMCC, the Chartered Management Institute and recently completed the Oxford Women’s Leadership Development Programme.
Michael is a positive psychologist and EMCC accredited coach. He follows a systemic and solution-based approach with a focus on forming and maintaining thriving relationships, and his coaching style is led by evidence-based theory from Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. Michael’s coaching supports individuals to reach their desired change by finding clarity, intrinsic motivation and self-awareness.
IK is an executive coach who helps CEOs improve their decision-making, rising talents prepare for leadership roles and managers become more effective communicators. He also works with early-stage entrepreneurs, individuals from minority ethnic backgrounds and other professionals seeking to accelerate their career trajectories. Following 22 years as an executive recruiter working with organisations in multiple industry sectors and across four continents, IK’s coaching insights are gleaned from thousands of hours of conversation with an extremely diverse range of executives.
Together they will:
- Discuss what evidence-based coaching is
- Draw on Delta’s experience of coaching over 1,000 professionals across the globe in the last 2 years to share how coaching practice unlocks the power of inclusion for talent management
- Describe Delta’s approach to executive coaching to support majority-status leaders to become authentic allies for diversity, equity and inclusion and support underrepresented professionals in leveraging their personal capacity to thrive and drive success at work
Who is this talk for?
This talk is aimed at all who have responsibility or interest in talent, leadership, and diversity & inclusion such as D&I leaders, HR professionals, Executive Coaches, Senior Leaders, Allies and Sponsors, as well as professionals from under-represented/minoritised groups (e.g., professionals who self-identify as minority ethnic, women, LGBTQIA+ or disabled/living with disabilities).
